With over 30 years of experience and a portfolio spanning 36 countries across the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe, Hakan has played a pivotal role in shaping iconic projects for world-renowned brands such as Aman, One&Only, SIRO, and InterContinental. His work has helped set new benchmarks in luxury hospitality and branded residential design, leveraging a deep understanding of hospitality dynamics and real estate investment.

Hakan’s expertise encompasses architecture, interior design, design and process management, branding, conversion, innovation, and sustainability. He approaches each project as a unique opportunity to celebrate the locale—its culture, people, and values—while achieving a refined balance between comfort, sophisticated simplicity, and luxury.

He earned his Master’s degree from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, where his research focused on developing sustainable design models for the hospitality industry, including small, unbranded luxury hotels. Hakan is a member of the Turkish Chamber of Architects, the International Design Management Institute (DMI), and the Ashford Institute Alumni, and holds a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
